DRAFT 2005-2006 ACTION PLAN AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT
The Citizens’ Committee on Community Development (CCCD), Mayor’s Office of Community Development (MOCD), Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) and San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) announce the availability of the Draft 2005-06 Action Plan for public review and comment from April 14, 2005 through May 13, 2005. The 2005-06 Action Plan identifies the proposed projects that will be funded during the upcoming fiscal year with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), Home Investment Partnership (HOME) and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funding. The approximate amounts of funding the City and County of San Francisco will receive from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development are as follows: CDBG ($24,137,382), HOME ($8,728,805), HOPWA ($8,466,000 for San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin Counties), and ESG ($923,756). Funds will be used for workforce development and supportive service initiatives, public facility and public space improvements, economic development activities, planning and technical assistance activities, affordable housing programs, emergency shelter and transitional housing projects, and administrative costs.
