What if I was chosen as one of the first 26 lottery winners?
Lottery winners will be contacted by the Avalon Ocean Avenue by rank order in late May or soon thereafter. Applicants must meet all qualifications for the units. For a review of the building requirements, please review the posting for the unit by clicking here.
What if I was not chosen as one of the first 26 lottery winners?
If you are not one of the first 26 lottery winners, you may still be contacted about an open unit as not every applicant above you will qualify for a unit. The applicants remaining on the 350 household lottery list will be placed on a waitlist for the units that could take years to exhaust. If your number is not on the list at all, it means that you were not selected to choose a unit or to be on the waitlist. We are not able to place all names on the waitlist as a waitlist of 1700 names would be unmanageable and become stale quickly.
